Ten Trends for World Missions

As we enter our second centennial what should we expect?

1.        The mission field has become a mission force.

2.        Missions has come home to the United States.

3.        Missions flows from prayer.

4.        Missions requires laboring together.

5.        Missions necessitates going to the cities where people are.

6.        Missions requires our best-trained workers.

7.        Missions has an open heart for all people.

8.        Missions is committed to fulfilling the Great Commandment through humanitarian service.

9.        Missions must be the heartbeat of every pastor.

10.       Missions exist because worship does not.

With these trends we will concentrate on our core values:

1.        Win the lost.

2.        Disciple believers.

3.        Train workers.

4.        Care for the homeless and needy.
